Michelle Star Bedford

artist, writer, and dreamwork teacher.

Michelle Star Bedford is an artist, writer, and dreamwork teacher trained through the Robert Moss School of Active Dreaming. Her fascination with dreams began at a young age, with a precognitive dream of the World Trade Center’s fall at age seven, followed by a near-death experience dream at twelve. However, it wasn’t until a life-changing dream in her twenties—paired with a waking encounter with a merlin falcon—that she became devoted to studying dreams and the intuitive wisdom they offer.

With over 100 hours of dreamwork training, Michelle is passionate about meeting people at the threshold of inner awakenings. She works with both individuals and groups to support a deeper connection to the guidance that emerges through dreams.

Michelle does not position herself as an authority over others’ dreams. Instead, she believes each person is the true authority of their own inner life. Her role is to serve as a reflective mirror—helping others access, trust, and interpret the wisdom already speaking within them.

She currently serves as the Upper Midwest Regional Representative for the International Association for the Study of Dreams, supporting members across North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

When she is not painting, dreaming, writing, or in ceremony, you can find her skipping along the great outdoors, singing in the rain, rolling down grassy fields, being with her family and friends, surfskating, and offering her time at her local animal shelter.
